Context of the project consists of three parts, four-storey original hotel building was built in 1929, existing hotel (also known as Eden Rock) 13 floors built in the 80's and land area 1050m2 will be new hotel 20 storey building. The completed construction including Renovation and Extension will have 233 rooms and the amenities of a 5 star hotel are connected and operated as a single Grand Hotel.

For architectural design of extension, the podium repeats the typical Art Décor architectural details of the original Grand Hotel and forms a continuity connecting the three buildings together. In high-rise tower, these details are simpler, more modern and contemporary, in harmony with the architectural language of the original building.
